Our Team

Teresa Williams, DNP, CRNP

My foundation was laid as the granddaughter of a retired U.S. Air Force Tech Sergeant and an amazing grandmother, who taught us that respect, moral values, and determination would carry you far in life. Within my family, I've been inspired by nurses, educators, entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, and trade technicians. My love for investigation, creativity, and precision grew from this environment.

Throughout my many years as a registered nurse, I have gained experience with the most important piece of all - people. From caring for patients in the hospital to teaching undergraduate nursing students, I have always enjoyed getting to know people and building therapeutic relationships. I continued on to earn a Doctorate in Nursing Practice to learn the best research and practice to improve the health outcomes of the whole person within the adult and geriatric population. Utilizing the latest technology to improve health is a passion of mine. I am overjoyed to be afforded the opportunity to build a trusting patient-provider relationship as a nurse practitioner with the patients of NSIM applying the skills I have learned.

I am a product of inner city Philadelphia and look forward to serving the diverse population of our city to the best of my ability. One of my many favorite mottos is "each one, teach one". By being partners in health with you, I hope to bring another perspective to your optimal health journey. Education is key and that includes health education. With the power of health knowledge, you can take better care of yourself for yourself and for those who matter most to you.

Outside of NSIM, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our wonderful son, family, and friends. I also enjoy music, poetry, funny movies, holidays, and warm weather.
