Gelsey Rellosa, MD

I was born and raised on a fruit farm in Western Pennsylvania. Although I love my Western Pennsylvania roots, spending years in Philadelphia while doing my medical training at Temple University, and meeting my husband here has given me a second place that I can call home.

With a father who practiced Internal Medicine in our small town, I experienced his work at a young age. I admired his skill, the relationships he formed with his patients, and the integral role he played as he helped them through their medical struggles. Over the years, I decided to begin my own journey into the world of medicine striving to be a knowledgeable and caring physician. I believe that there is a fine balance of understanding medicine and disease and being able to communicate and relate to patients which makes a good physician. I work my hardest to reach that balance.

I moved back to Philadelphia in 2012 after spending three years as a primary care physician in Maryland and look forward to many good years at Ninth Street Internal Medicine.
