Our Team

Michelle Zuccato Flynn, MD

A native of the area, I grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania with my parents and two younger sisters. In high school, I saw how my own primary care physician also cared for my siblings, parents, and grandparents, and how our doctor became a trusted person for our whole family. This is what first sparked my interest in medicine and motivated me to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. After graduating from the honors college at Penn State University, I attended medical school at Temple University, which is where I met my future husband. Following graduation, I moved to Washington, DC where I did my internal medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital. After completing residency, my husband’s Army career brought us to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I spent four years as a primary care physician at a community hospital in rural Oklahoma. With few internists and specialists available there, I became experienced in independently managing complex medical problems. I had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of family members, from young college students to WWII veterans and everyone in between. While I treasured my time as part of a small community, I am thrilled to be back in Philadelphia for good! Since returning to the city, I have enjoyed running (often with our dog Sadie), reading, visiting the Jersey shore, and spending time with family and friends.
