Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in Philadelphia
I grew up just outside of Philadelphia in the New Jersey suburbs. After receiving a BA in Humanities at the University of Colorado I moved to San Francisco. While trying to decide my next steps I started volunteering at a free medical clinic, that experience led me to a career in healthcare. I moved back to Philadelphia and attended Jefferson for both my bachelors and masters in nursing. In between my BSN and MSN, I worked as an RN in outpatient psychiatric care in New York City. After becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a primary care provider for an internal medicine practice for 8 years in New York.
I am delighted to be back in the Philadelphia area and working as a nurse practitioner in Center City. I enjoy working in internal medicine because it allows me to build meaningful and trusting relationships with my patients. I strive to serve my patients and work together to achieve healthcare goals and improve their overall well-being.
