NSIM IS PROUD TO WELCOME 3 NEW PROVIDERS!
Shinette Sirmans-McRae, MD will be joining us in December 2023. After her early career as a primary care physician in her native NYC, she has been a hospitalist at Methodist Hospital for over 15 years. She is excited to return to primary care at NSIM. She is married, the mother of 3 girls, loves to travel, and is active in efforts to improve the health of people in her community.
Pek Ieong, MSN, AGPCNP, after a prior career in drug development, moved from California to Philadelphia to pursue her dreams of becoming an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She worked at Methodist Hospital as a nurse and then worked as a nurse practitioner in a Skilled Nursing Facility caring for patients who have been recently discharged from the hospital. She enjoys hiking, biking, painting, and knitting in her spare time.
Ryan Gunderman, CRNP, after working for 5 years as hospital-based nurse, completed his nurse practitioner training at the University of Miami. He returned to the Philadelphia area to be closer to family and to join NSIM. A former rugby player in college, he now enjoys playing soccer and eating in great restaurants around the city with friends.
