Kim Romansky, MSN, RN, AGPCNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner in Philadelphia, PA

Having grown up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, it feels good to return to the area. I left to attend Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina to play Division One NCAA Field Hockey and obtain an undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science. My collegiate athletic career sent me overseas after graduation to the Netherlands allowing me to play with the best field hockey players in the world. Having fulfilled an athletic journey, I returned stateside to receive a nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and start my childhood dream of a profession in healthcare. My foundation was built at Duke University Hospital and UNC Healthcare in North Carolina with the bulk of my nursing experience in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit followed by a few travel nursing contracts. These hospital experiences cultivated my desire to go into preventative medicine and primary care which were made possible at the University of Pennsylvania with an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree. Outside of work, I enjoy weekend road trips, trail running, and relaxing at the beach from sunup to sundown.
